1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern the use of the private hire taxi services offered by Carmiles Ltd, a private hire taxi company based in Hastings, UK. By using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Services.

2. Use of Services

2.1. The Services are available for use by individuals who are 14 years of age or older. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you, and any passengers under your care, are 14 years of age or older and will comply with these Terms.

2.2. The Services are intended for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not use the Services for any commercial purposes without the prior written consent of the Company.

3. Booking and Payment

3.1. To book a taxi through the Services, you must provide the Company with your pick-up location, destination, and desired time of pickup.

3.2. For local jobs, payment for the Services will be made at the end of the trip. For out-of-town jobs, payment must be made in advance through the payment method made available by the Company.

3.3. The fare for each trip will be calculated based on the distance travelled, the time taken, and any applicable waiting time in traffic. The fare will be displayed to you before you confirm your booking.

4. Sickness in the Car

If any passenger becomes sick in the car, you will be responsible for paying a fee for cleaning. The fee will be determined by the Company in its sole discretion.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

5.1. For local jobs, there will be no charges for cancellations.

5.2. The Company may cancel a booking at any time if it determines, in its sole discretion, that it is unable to provide the Services for any reason or if it considers the booking to be unfit for any reason. In such a case, you will receive a full refund.

6. Responsibility for Passengers and Property

6.1. You are responsible for ensuring that all passengers using the Services comply with these Terms.

6.2. The Company is not responsible for any loss or damage to any property belonging to you or any passenger while using the Services.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1. The Company will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the Services, including but not limited to, loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of data.

7.2. The Company's total liability to you in connection with the use of the Services will not exceed the total amount paid by you for the Services.

8. Changes to Terms

The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Services after any such modification constitutes your agreement to be bound by the modified Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be resolved exclusively by the courts of England and Wales.

10. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company with respect to the use of the Services. These Terms supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic,
